Another Master-Planned Community Will Soon Transform Celina

Celina, Texas, will soon be on the brink of another transformative development. Centurion American Development and D.R. Horton’s Forestar Group,  are joining together to create a new community. Both companies are currently based in Farmers Branch and Arlington. They will soon develop single-family homes on 241-acre parcel in Collin County. They are located at the bustling intersection of Preston Road and Legacy Drive.

A Historical Legacy Will Meet Modern Development

The land was gifted to the Celina Independent School District. This will help hold on to its legacy and pave the way for future growth. This thoughtful stewardship has ensured the property’s readiness for development. This will mark a significant milestone for the area.

A New Vision for Community and Connectivity

This community will soon feature 750 lots and a 10-acre community park. This will offer spaces for families.  The community will be located across from the Celina High School and Athletic Complex. The new development will ideally be located next to a new elementary school and middle school. Furthermore, this will continue to ensure top-tier educational opportunities for residents.

A Collaborative Effort

Rex Glendenning and Caleb Lavey facilitated the transaction. Jack Dawson and Graham Maxey, of Centurion American, led their firm’s team. “The Hubbard Trust has done an admirable job of being a great custodian of this property through the years,” said Glendenning. “They have patiently waited for development to occur in this area and over the last couple of years have chosen to sell the single-family component of their overall 420 acres after recently entitling and zoning the property through the City of Celina.”

A Neighbor to Other Developments

This new community will sit just east of Legacy Hills community. This is another big master-planned project. It is set to bring 7,200  homes to the area. It also will bring commercial development, a country club, and amenities. Additionally, Hillwood’s Ramble community was announced earlier this year. It will be a 1,380-acre project. There will soon be an expected 4,000 homes.

Building Celina’s Future

Celina will soon continue to attract big developments. This new master-planned community will continue to represents a blend of relationship and growth. With this growth, the community will have top-notch spaces for families. The promise will continue to residents for a wonderful living experience.
