The property has an attached four-car garage, a six-bay garage and a full apartment.
An English manor-style estate on more than 16 acres in Colleyville hit the market for $13 million.
The property at 6401 Westcoat Drive has more than 9,000 square feet of space with an attached four-car garage, a separate six-bay workshop garage and a full apartment.
The home has five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and one half bath. It has three catering kitchens, and outside are multiple covered patios, two saltwater pools and a cabana.
“I‘ve got a list of everything that’s in the home, and it’s 13 pages; it’s insane,” said the listing agent, Trinity Prairie Real Estate founder and owner Karen Miears, who put the home on the market earlier in September. “It’s all about entertaining.”
Miears said the owner’s husband, who had owned a large trucking company, died but his passion for the property is clearly evident.
“Every square inch of it is just pristine,” she said. “All that grass is as thick as you could ever imagine. There are ponds that are stocked.”
Another 14 acres of adjoining property is available through Miears. In addition to the listed 16 acres, the homeowner owns 43 additional acres that had previously been planned for a residential development called Greystone Manor, according to Miears. The Colleyville City Council denied the 45-lot project proposed by Hat Creek Development in February following neighborhood opposition, Community Impact reported.
The median home price in Colleyville was $944,500 in August, according to numbers from North Texas Real Estate Information Systems and the Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University.
